Finishing Operation
Deburring - The material thus obtained is tumbled
and barreled to remove burrs/flash generated during
compaction. The finishing and smoothness is also enhanced in this operation.
Sizing - Now the material is sized to attain close
tolerance on the product Outer Diameter, Inner Bore and product length.
Oil Impregnation - These components are now placed in
Oil Impregnation plant where the component comes in contact with
special grade of lubricating oil. This lubricating oil is forced inside the porosity
of the sintered components where later on these components perform as self-lubricating bushes.
